Journeys is truly a journey through mystical worlds told through music. It's a set of works full of mystery and wonder about places in Aotearoa but also undiscovered realms. It starts with a prelude to set the scene, and then jumps to a piece about an undiscovered world. It feels mysterious and a sense of the unknown. Then we head to the beaches of Pohara in Golden Bay

where the moonlight glistens over the water at night which is ever so enchanting. The final movement is inspired by the poem "The Stolen Child" by W. B. Yeats, about a mystical world that is full of magic and wonder.
